Guy began playing out his funky-house style in 1992 for the infamous Hacienda's Sunday Night Flesh in Manchester; he was resident for three years and whilst there began to get regular bookings for such premier clubs as Ministry of Sound and Vague. Guy then took-up a residency at Manchester's Holy City Zoo and, for two years, played alongside such DJ stalwarts as Danny Tenaglia, Lil Louis and Tony Humphries.

In 1997, Guy moved to London, taking up the position of Promotions manager for Jive Records. His DJing career took him all over Europe and to San Francisco - where he played on the live radio show Your Mamma's house - San Fran's answer to Danny Rampling's Love Groove Dance Party. He also fashioned his style at Protocol in Tokyo and since in London has held residencies at London's Trade, DTPM, Home, Hanover Grand and The End.

As well as mixing the covermount CD for M8, Guy has also remixed under the name of Science Friction, completing mixes for Roachford, Tina Cousins and Smoke City. He has also recently produced his first slammin' track, due to be circulating on dancefloors soon…

In the Spring of 2000, Guy became the promotions manager for Defected Records and for that year held a residency at Trade at The Arches in Glasgow, was invited to play alongside Danny Tenaglia at Be Yourself: Vinyl in New York and played with Judge Jules and Danny Rampling on the Radio 1 stage at London's Mardi Gras. He also presented his own show on Atlantic 252 and managed to increase audience figures by 144%!

Into 2001 and so far Guy has played at Pacha, Space, Bora Bora and Manumission-Trade in Ibiza and is due to play at the prolific clubs, Bed and Miss Moneyspennys, later this year. He did the Hotmix for Danny Rampling's Love Groove Dance Party in January, and for six months co-presented the Defected shows with Seamus Haji on Ministry of Sound radio!

2002 looks like it's going to be Guys busiest year yet!
